I understand that managing people is a small part of managing a successful project, however managing people ineffectively can really derail a project. To prevent ineffective individuals during a project or causing division within the team, project managers must coach and support team members. (Hall, H. 2016) This is why I learned from this course that the communication approach is vital for the project and that having a timely and appropriate response to your team is also important for their success. During the simulation scenarios, whenever the team was faced with a problem, they had an emotional reaction. It became very clear that if I couldn't handle those insecurities and stress, morale was an important factor in having the ability to move forward. All pieces of the project management puzzle are valid, although the people who make up the pieces of the puzzle are the most important part of project management. There will always be uncertainties and obstacles throughout the project life cycle, but communication and people management are as important as the puzzle pieces I have indicated
