It is clear that when it comes to property there is a clear difference between the concepts of private property and freedom regarding John Locke and Karl Marx. The eradication of private property ownership is one of the central aspects of Marx's theories. It focuses on the concept of private property but the main focus is on work. That is, the means of production. The balance between the feudal landowner and the workers is the balance that has occurred throughout history. Since there are no riots, the resulting inequalities will only grow and remain unregulated. According to Marx, private property is the ownership of goods that produce value and are also productive. Marx believes that the concept of private property is inherently exploitative. It allows the owner of private property to utilize the labor power of workers resulting in unpaid labor because the worker produces more than he is paid, thus creating profit which in turn finances the interests of the bourgeoisie. This is based on the Marxian conception of freedom. Marx believes that one is truly free when one can control the direction of one's life. For this to work, there needs to be knowledge and understanding of the different living conditions and realization of the condition in which one actually lives. When this happens, you can develop your freedom and discover what your open capabilities are and then use them to do what you want to do with your life. Private property does the opposite, forcing people to engage in activities not based on their desires and freedom, but on the need to remain economically stable. Beyond that, Marx states that our concept of freedom around principle B, so when people think they are pursuing real freedom, they are...... middle of paper ...... t. Ownership of property is fundamental to good governance. This property would be private. All citizens had the right to poverty (if they had the means to afford it). God gave man the land to hold in common, but when man adds labor to the land, it becomes his private poetry. By working the land the land "the fruits of that work" belong to man. Even more so if man adds something to the land he has worked which also becomes his. It is the government's job to help you protect your private property because there is no way for you to keep it safe on your own. They do this by employing a social contract that causes people to come together to form an agreement that then protects this private property. Before private protest men were equal, but due to private porteyr a hierarchy is formed as men are forced to make an agreement between themselves and the government.
