Living in the 21st century with high technology, communication between human beings has become easier, faster and more effective than in the old days. This is due to the benefits of rapidly growing technology. However, the communication process in every platform is vital in communication as it is important to ensure that messages are conveyed effectively. According to the Kellogg article provided, there are some significant key steps in the communication process. The critical first step is for the sender to have a general idea of what will be covered and the purpose of sending these messages. For example, WWF organized the “Blue Mile” event to raise awareness of human impacts on water. In this case, Kellogg's idea was for children not to eat breakfast before school. This is a crucial step as it determines the nature and purpose of the idea for the communication process to be effective (Bovee & Thill, 2014). This is because when the nature and purpose of the idea are clear, the sender can generate a more meaningful message to send to the audience. Besides that, the other key step is to encode the sender's idea. At this stage, ideas would be transformed into messages before sending them to a targeted audience. For example, it's like how campaign ideas are turned into slogans to convey messages. Furthermore, this step is vital as the sender must possess cognitive thinking skills to convert the initial idea into effective messages that will be channeled to the recipient (Coates, 2009). According to Kellogg's article, this step is critical as it ensures that ideas have been codified into effective messages such as the importance of breakfast, the impact of breakfast clubs on student skills and attendance in class, and. .. middle of paper ......efficiently targeted audience groups.Reference List• Bovee, C. & Thill, J.
