The demographics used for the study are described as "highly advantaged children (middle class whites with IQ of at least 135)..." (Gallagher) . An IQ of 135 or higher is a very selective group and less than 1% of the world's population meets these criteria (“What contributes to the creation of a genius?”). With an IQ of 135 or higher, these children are more susceptible to anxiety, stress, and peer relationship problems (“Social and Emotional Problems”). These problems could directly impact their happiness and have a big effect on their life if the problems persist. The findings are even more limiting when other factors such as race and financial background are taken into account. The lives these children lead are far from typical, and access to certain advantages and greater susceptibility to certain conditions can impact outcomes. When 99% of the world is exempt from this study and the results are applied to such a broad spectrum, it is not an acceptable application of the measures provided
