My average cholesterol intake was 370 mg. I consider it very interesting since my diet is strict and my fat intake was low in percentage. Cholesterol has many negative effects and is linked to serious diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, arthritis, atherosclerosis and arthritis. Foods to avoid are margarines, crackers, biscuits, meat-based cheeses and processed foods, ice cream and many others. Avoiding trans fats should be the primary concern, while increasing the “good fats” which are monosaturated fats. These slow the formation of clots or plaques in the coronary arteries, preventing cardiovascular disease. In conclusion, increasing the amount of calories is not enough. I need to watch my cholesterol intake, decrease polysaturated cholesterol, and increase monounsaturated fats. Keep sodium intake to a minimum. Increase the amount of green leafy vegetables and organic fruit. Also increase your intake of whole foods, seeds and vegetable oils. Additionally, I add saltwater fish and dried fruit products to my diet in an effort to increase my intake of “good cholesterol” and increase my
