I find legal-rational to be legitimate as he holds power legally and if I don't respect the laws he provides, it would have a negative impact on my life such as getting arrested and so on. I also believe that traditional authority is legitimate as it affects my life too, but in a different way. For example, my family is Catholic and even though I'm not very religious, I still have to go to church with my family every Easter Sunday, and so on. These types of authorities are very convincing to me because I have to follow the rules they enforce on a daily basis and failure to follow them could cause disruptions. For example, if I didn't go to church with my family on Easter Sunday, it would cause confusion for my family. Or if I decided to rob a store (not following the law) I would be arrested and sent to prison
