John Locke, a famous philosopher, believed in fundamental rights. His fundamental rights stated that everyone has “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”. When it is legalized, the Pledge of Allegiance will actually mean something. The Pledge of Allegiance states: "One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Now that gay marriage is legalized we have liberty and justice for those who can now speak freely through marriage about the love they have with a significant other .
