Everyone is out of work or school and finally gets together for a week of fun. One of the first things we do is decorate the Christmas tree. The lights are put on the tree by my mom, while my uncle supervises. She is also the organizer and scolds anyone who puts too many ornaments in one place. When I try to put the ornament with my baby's photo front and center on the tree, she is the first to yell at me and tell me to take it off. My brother does the same thing, so we constantly fight over where to put them. Ultimately, the ornaments end up randomly placed somewhere around the tree. Everyone puts their favorite ornaments on the tree and then we put all the other ornaments. The last ornament to put on the tree is given to my grandmother. The quality control guy is my uncle. Once everyone has finished working on the tree, he looks around and makes any changes he feels are necessary. In the end, the tree looks great. I love how the green, red, yellow and blue lights shine on the ornaments and really make them pop. Everyone has a job in this process and this keeps our family growing together. Us
