Bodh Gaya is considered the foundation of Buddhism where Buddha became enlightened. Everyone who comes to Bodh Gaya not only to visit it but also wants to be enlightened and find peace in mind. Bodh Gaya is located 96 km from the city of Patna (India) - the capital of Bihar, a religious site, where every Buddhist wishes to visit once in their life. There are two sacred places of this religious site: Bodhi Tree and Bodhgaya Tower, also called Mahabodhi Temple. In 2002, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognized the Mahabodhi temple complex (also called the Great Awakening temple) in Bodh Gaya as a world heritage site. North of the Bodhgaya Tower there is a narrow path 4 feet above the ground. They described it as a small road that Buddha, after enlightenment, had walked back and forth on this path for meditation.
