The Mahabodhi temple complex is well known as a world heritage site. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to this sacred place every year with their hearts devoted to the Buddha. A miraculous and amazing thing is that anyone who stops here for worship, chanting or meditation, or begins a heart for the Buddha; they all share a sense of peace, a surge of joy that is Buddha's blessing to his disciples or anyone who has a little kindness in thinking of Buddha. This is one of the reasons why I chose the Mahabodhi Temple for this research paper. I am also Buddhist, so it is essential for me and other people to learn more about the history of Buddhism. Bodh Gaya is considered the foundation of Buddhism where Buddha became enlightened. Everyone who comes to Bodh Gaya not only to visit it but also wants to be enlightened and find peace in mind. Bodh Gaya is located 96 km from the city of Patna (India) - the capital of Bihar, a religious site, where every Buddhist wishes to visit once in their life. There are two sacred places of this religious site: Bodhi Tree and Bodhgaya Tower, also called Mahabodhi Temple. In 2002, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognized the Mahabodhi temple complex (also called the Great Awakening temple) in Bodh Gaya as a world heritage site. North of the Bodhgaya Tower there is a narrow path 4 feet above the ground. They described it as a small road that Buddha, after enlightenment, had walked back and forth on this path for meditation. In addition, there are many intricately carved lotus flowers on the road because people believed that Buddha left every step, which threw the lotus flower there. There is a shiny red sandstone next to the Bodhi tree known as Vajrasana (the Diamond Thro... in the center of the card... the hall is always filled with Buddhists from many countries such as Thailand, Sri Lanka and Myanmar To date, the Mahabodhi Temple has undergone several restorations and rebuilt, therefore, I would like to preserve the temple as it is not only the place to visit for tourists, but more importantly, it is a place of Buddhist practice. their religion, therefore, maintaining the traditional design is like maintaining the holy spirit for this sacred place. However, more and more pilgrims come to Bodh Gaya, it would be easier for Buddhists and tourists to access the surrounding area of the Mahabodhi Temple and. Bodhi. the tree will expand a little more, as will the development of infrastructure and public services. This would be the only thing I would change and improve. Other than that, maintaining the original structure of the temple retains its universal value.
