Although what Canada has done to Canada's Aboriginal people is terrible and I am ashamed that it happened and I am frustrated with the way the government then and recently handled it , I myself am not responsible for it. Looking to the future, I want to walk with Aboriginal communities and help communities heal and help Canada find a way to move forward in a healthy way. This doesn't necessarily mean being an ally, but being a friend and a partner on the journey
