Salvador Dali was born on May 11, 1904 in Catalonia, Spain, but he wasn't that unique as he was named after his dead older brother. His parents had a photograph of their first-born Salvador Dali hanging on the wall next to a painting of Jesus, as if it were a shrine. Salvador was spoiled by his mother and often had outbursts of temper. He would idolize her, especially since she treated him so well compared to his father who was only around on weekends because of his job. She had the desire to be a beautiful woman like her mother and admired herself in the mirror while hiding her genitals. Salvador also believed he was the reincarnation of his brother, which might have worried his father who was blamed for the death of his first-born son. Salvador had told people that at a young age he had a phobia of locusts according to http://www.theglaringfacts.com/2010/10/salvador-dali, but his delusional mind was full of lies and fantasies. At the age of ten Salvador received his first set of paints and began to paint. At the age of 16, Salvador lost his mother to cancer and his father made matters worse by marrying his mother's sister. http://www.artquotes.net/masters/salvador-dali/biography.htm states: “In 1922 Salvador Dali moved to Madrid to study painting at the Academy of Arts. Here he began to develop a reputation as an eccentric, attracting attention with his style of dress, hairstyles and comments on art. “Later, Salvador became a famous artist thanks to his surreal artworks. In addition to his strange unrealistic artworks, Salvador himself seemed strange in an unrealistic way. He needed approval and praise while overacting to put staged a show to attract attention. He was an artist, and even in everyday speech he pronounced his r in an exaggerated way... in the center of the card... the individual learned from these different classes and someone cannot learn to unless he is willing to do so. listen and do as you are told. I would consider giving him drugs like Xanax or Alprozolam to calm him down so he can still function in society and succeed in art, all while being set in a dream state where he will have fun and not bother others with his acting out of eccentricity This could be more of an experiment or short term study so that he doesn't get addicted like so many stars do to drugs. This can become negative if he experiences a high or hallucination that could worsen his delusions such as misperceptions of life. I would do nothing about his narcissistic behavioral problems since treatment has never been successful, just as I would do nothing about his desire to be like beautiful women since it has not interrupted or disturbed his way of life.
