We seek to prevent gun violence and protect the public. What parents fear most is that that security will be taken away from them, the feeling of knowing that their children are safe at school or at home. Even though there has been no progress in stricter gun control laws, that doesn't mean they won't control or minimize some of the violence in schools. There have been brave people who stood at a crime scene and pulled out their guns to stop the murderer or criminal, but speaking of those same brave people they had to go run to the car and run back to stop the murderer. The fact is that once a brave person goes to the car and comes back, the killers will probably kill someone or run away causing them to lose value. We all have a heroic side in us when we know that others may be seriously hurt, but we all have that fear. to die.
