Topic > Global Warming - 1000

Global warming changed from a scientific topic to a real-life concern in 1988 and is a topic that poses eternal environmental questions. Some countries are already seeing the effects that global warming can cause: not only will rising temperatures cause the polar ice caps to melt and many animals to become extinct, but it is the way in which global warming is occurring that will have a real impact on the environment. This problem started to arise mainly due to the industrial revolution. As more and more factories were built, gases were released into the atmosphere, and the main gas causing global warming is the ever-increasing amount of carbon dioxide (CO2). As the world becomes more urbanized, the global warming crisis grows. A major component of the increase in global warming is due to the ever-increasing amount of CO2 that countries use. “These large companies and factories burn fossil fuels such as coils, oil, petroleum and natural gas which all contain carbon. These gases are called fossil fuels because they are formed by natural processes that include buried dead organisms; remains of vegetation and remains of many dead animals buried underground. When the carbon from these fuels is burned, it mixes with oxygen in the air and creates carbon dioxide. With the increasing amount of urbanization that is happening in the world today, more carbon is being burned in the atmosphere which mixes with the oxygen in the air creating carbon dioxide. Global concern continues with the rise of the Industrial Revolution as large factories continue to be built by companies not concerned with what gases do to the atmosphere but who are more interested in making money and making profits. Global warming affects not only the environment... at the center of the paper... I change it because there is no way to refreeze the polar ice caps that have already melted or to recover the life of the dead. humans will have to face what we have done to our planet. There are many options we can take to slow the process of global warming, but we will never be able to reverse what has already been done. Human activity is one of the main causes of global warming. “There are additional contributions to sea level rise from other human activities such as wetland loss, deforestation, and groundwater extraction for irrigation and industrial use.” Many people will die from the effects of global warming and this process will accelerate causing more deaths, more floods and natural disasters. The damage has been done to the earth and all we can do is try to apply eco-friendly options and stop trapping so much carbon in the air.
