Later worked at Sam's Club; pushing carts and became a full-time worker. While working he saw his old high school classmates. They were on their way to success as Logan pushed carts at Sam's Club. This made him realize that he didn't want to push carts but to be successful in life. Logan says: “Coasting wouldn't have taken me any further. Not even the CDs, parties, or designer sneakers I enjoyed so much in high school. By pursuing them and nothing else, I had closed the doors of my life” (“Zero” 51). Most students can relate because as teenagers we tend not to worry about school, but rather worry about what we wear and what happens on social media. We also like to party and hang out with friends rather than studying for classes. I can relate to this because in high school I got ahead with school and didn't care about my grades. I would go out with my friends and do things until it was really late. I didn't do well in class because I was too busy doing things with my friends. My mother doesn't always like what I would do. He always got angry when the report card came because he knew I would get bad grades. She told me she was doing well in school and that made her proud. In the second semester of my sophomore year I would try to get better grades to make my mother proud because it would hurt her feelings when I get terrible grades. So, I made a plan and got ready
