The strangers you meet in your life come in many shapes and sizes. The unexpected will always happen in the least expected moments. Pearls are life's treasures that remind you what life is. I spent two years of my life in a drunken state. Unsure, where I was in my life at a time when my daughter Emerald needed her mother the most. The bottle with its shimmering silver and blue colors on the label became my twin. That is until I met a man who gave me one of the few pearls of my life. Jeremiah is a man who has a free spirit. It threw me a lifeline that none of us knew would happen. Walk to the sound of your own drum beat. Jeremiah is a typical man who blends into the crowd until he speaks. I still remember very clearly the day we met. January was a bit cold, it was a gloomy day with a gray haze in the sky. Perched on my stool at 5:15. I just called Emerald's grandfather because I wanted him to pick her up. It was becoming a normal thing these last few months. I had to work late in the office, a big report needed to be completed. This great relationship was my love affair with a glass of Vodka. The tabletop was smooth and had recently had a new glaze applied. The four leaf clovers engraved on the bar top and table were a nice touch. The bar was kept dimly lit for good reason. The seductive smell of a narcotic filled the room. It felt a little like home while hiding from the reality of the outside world. The usual crowd could be found here. When a stranger walks in you can see that he is out of his element. After many tall, strong drinks in the early evening a man entered the bar. His hair was messy and he looked a little disconcerted. He gr... in the center of the paper......rity. I saw what my childhood was like and I couldn't believe that I was telling the same sad story and wrong actions to my precious little boy. I asked Emerald what she was looking for and her answer was, among a lot of nonsense, a pearl for mom. That particular day I was given two pearls. These pearls were of wisdom. My well-groomed, clothed and fed daughter needed a loving mother. Jeremiah showed me where and how to use the shovel and get out of this pit of despair. It became a lifeline when I was drowning in a bottle of alcohol at high speed. Pearls can be defined as grains of sand found in a clam that can transform it into something precious. A pearl can also represent someone or something of great value. Although a pearl can be wisdom or a pearl disguised as a friend who comes into your life with a lifesaver and helps you in times of need.
