During my childhood, movies represented an immense sense of escape; however I didn't realize it until now. Movies ranging from childish to mature captured me at such a young age and I decided to never let go. The different stages of my life (toddler, toddler, teenager, and early adult) have had a profound effect on my life as I have seen an assortment of unusual films. My childhood years included Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, The Goonies, and Cinderella. . As a child I went to even greater heights to consume a VHS tape of Barney, more specifically Barney's Big Adventure. When you watch a movie for the first time as a child, you don't notice some details until your parents or someone else points them out to you. For me, this peculiar incident was the movie Bambi. It was towards the end of 1995 and I had just turned four when my mother and father decided to plan a special movie night for when my father came home. Mom had recently purchased Bambi but wouldn't let me watch it the day she bought it. He said to me: “Wait until your father comes home. He will really like this movie. The reason I wasn't allowed to watch Bambi was because my dad was out of town for a week, on a hunting trip with a friend. I just handled not seeing my dad for a week while he worked really hard to "put food on the table," as he told me. He entered, along with his friend Bobby, who helped him carry a cooler and their equipment into the kitchen. After what seemed like hours, we finally sat down in front of the television and popped Bambi. Dad brought home the pig, or so he told me, and we pressed play, gorging on the face. As the film progressed with the meeting of Thumper, my favorite character at the time, and Flower, I was genuinely happy. I laughed at...middle of the paper......and the fact that I grew up with Toy Story 1 and 2, Toy Story 3 brought to light revelations that I never would have realized if it weren't for what happened in that film moment and in that certain moment in my life. The ending where Andy appreciates spending time with toys by giving them to Bonnie showed me that I will be fine without my parents' constant support. When Andy was preparing the toys and objects from his room he made me aware that I am growing up and will enter the next phase of life. The Toy Story trilogy spanned different phases of my life. During a lifetime someone sees hundreds and hundreds of movies and in the course of watching those movies; they compare their lives to those films. Even though I only lived nineteen, I love the movies that were associated with those crazy but rewarding nineteen years.
