Disney chose the wolf to represent Hitler. Early in Hitler's career, Herr Wolf came to be barred from recognition. He was also called Wolf by close government officials such as his advisors and the like. Hitler also called some of his headquarters by his nickname, such as his headquarters in East Prussia, Wolfsschanze, (meaning wolf's den) Wolfsschlucht (meaning wolf canyon) I and II in Belgium, and Werewolf (werewolf in German) in Ukraine. He is also said to have booed the Disney song, "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" Hitler also renamed his sister “Frau Wolf” and called the Volkswagen factory “Wolfsburg” (Skal, 212). It seems that Disney gave him this name on purpose and Hitler was very fond of the name he was given
