Topic > Energy Flows in Our Daily Life - 797

Introduction: Energy is a type of quantitative properties that exist in the earth that describe the state of the ecosystem or object. Energy can be transformed into a series of forms that can manifest and be measurable in different ways (Wikipedia2013). Energy existed in the ecosystem in different forms. Meanwhile, it does not pass through ecosystems but instead enters ecosystems and is consumed within ecosystems (InstaEDU 2013). Furthermore, energy flow is the process by which energy moves through an ecosystem and energy exists in different energy flows in the ecosystem such as biological, chemical and physical. The purpose of this essay is to describe and explain the different energy flows in our daily life and how these energy flows are vital to humans. Main paragraph: Ecosystems are maintained by the energy cycle, and the flow of energy begins with the sun. Organisms known as producers which were plants used sunlight to create their own energy. This energy production is called photosynthesis. Plants convert solar energy into chemical energy which is starched by leaves and transported to different plant organs to support growth. In turn, other organisms eat plants for energy. These organisms are animals called primary consumers. When a primary consumer, such as a cow, eats a plant, energy is transferred from the plant to the animal, just as it was transferred from the sun to the plant. So, organisms that feed at different trophic levels are classified at the highest of the trophic levels at which they feed and this organism is called human. The flow of energy in the food chain can be concluded as solar energy converted into chemical energy to heat energy and finally heat lost from one trophic level to the next trophic level. On average about 10% or... half the paper... at times when demand is high and the system is under heavy load. In addition to pumped storage, the most common generator to produce hydropower is a hydroelectric dam, the turbine inside can convert the kinetic energy of falling or flowing water into electricity, and transfer electricity to nearby city via electric cable for the nutrition of human activities. Conclusion: To conclude, human beings cannot live without energy. In daily life we need to eat food to get energy for the body's homeostasis. Furthermore, we use electricity all the time. Commerce, scientific research, agriculture, entertainment, even the devices in our home such as the light bulb, cell phone, television or refrigerator, all needed electricity to sustain themselves. We live with different types of energy flow and need it all our lives as it is vital to our daily life.
