I would say that this theory would say that it would be okay to let them die, but only if it benefits them. It wouldn't be good if that wasn't the case. “The theory is linked to the ethical intuition that an action is morally bad if it harms someone, while it is morally good if it helps or benefits someone” (Page 40, Introduction to ethical theory). If someone wanted to die because they had a disease that would kill them to the point where they had no chance of curing it, then they would benefit from the pain and suffering. If they didn't have a disease that would cause them to die and they wanted to anyway, this theory would say that would be wrong. My final theory is a deontological theory. The deontological theory I have chosen is Kantian ethical theory. I thought this theory fit my problem well because of the second formulation. “Act towards all people in such a way as to treat them as ends in themselves and never simply as means to achieve the ends of others” (p. 95). It means treating them as themselves. The theory would allow them to do what they want because they are independent people and can make the decision themselves. If they want to die, it's their choice, no matter what. I have talked about different opinions or points of view, but now I will talk about mine
