Poor eating habits and lack of exercise are the main causes of this preventable problem. Michele Obama has declared war on obesity and is the founder of the “Let's Move Campaign” which promotes exercise and better nutrition. So, as difficult as it may be to change; changing eating and exercise habits can help control and even prevent health problems. Eating more vegetables, especially leafy greens, and eliminating or reducing my sugar intake, as well as my dairy intake, has helped me control my high blood pressure and diabetes. I also tried juices and found that they are very effective but also expensive for keeping the immune system healthy. My doctor told me, “Sudberry, eat beans, eat more beans.” And so they too are part of my diet. Our brain works much better if we nourish our body with healthier foods. Circulation is much improved, our ability to exercise is improved because we have more energy, and our interactions with others are improved because we feel better about ourselves. Our clothes look and fit better too. And the greatest benefit of all is that we simply feel it
