Life: Personal ExperienceWho would have thought that a night out with a church group could turn into a fatal accident? While traveling to a spring break camp, one of our vans was hit by an 18-wheeler; creating a night we wouldn't forget. The story began with a trip to a summer retreat. It was a ticket to bring me back to reality, and also a ticket for some people to heaven. We load our luggage into the back of the vans and head towards our destination. It was about an hour or an hour and a half later, one of our vans stopped at the stop sign, when the driver of that van saw that no car was coming (some blind spots cover the area that the driver can't see) stepped the paddles and we left, but an oncoming truck was driving too fast and didn't see one of our vans, crushing the van into three different pieces, everyone in our van saw that it happened and everyone is shocked by that scene terrible. A few minutes later the police and ambulances quickly arrived. We heard a loud noise coming from the police and they asked us to help them, we quickly got out of the van and helped the firemen and policemen get people out of the vans, I saw many of our friends from church burned alive and some others simply crushed by small pieces. Everyone is in tears, including the police and firefighters. After the rescue, we discover that most of the people in the van are dead, but some are in serious condition. After that incident, I learned that life is meaningless and that we should help others while we can. My goal was to let God into my life. It was one of the most relaxing and peaceful things I've ever done. Since we are all inspired by God, He helps us when we really need it. It takes us out of the nightmare that no one will ever forget. We gather all our church friends in a small gathering every Friday, whenever we meet, we have small group meetings and share whatever comes to mind. We prayed for people to find God in their lives and for anything that needed assistance. We also planned the prayer service, meals and household chores for the next day. We have seen God come into our lives and help us while we are struggling to do some things that we just can't understand. It gives us the power to think and solve the problem later.
