So even if we do not pray we become weak and risk spiritual death. I also observed that when we charge the phone it has to be close to the power supply. I have yet to see a very long charging cable. Saints, prayer keeps us close to God. However, it is worth noting that a charged phone can be removed from the power source and be operational. However, it is only for a limited time, after which it will need to be recharged. Likewise, when we pray we are equipped/strengthened to face our day. Realistically, we have things to do, so we can't constantly be in the same place in prayer. Like the phone, as we go through life's journey, we lose charge and will have to return to the source to recharge. Failure to do so can lead to spiritual death if we do not adhere to the signs (e.g., Holy Spirit, friend, pastor, etc.) that let us know that our charge is getting low or even critical. Can you even imagine how quickly we will burn out with all the battles going on in our lives? Prayer is important for the Christian. Many of us charge our phone a couple of times a day, we don't want to lose the charge because we have a lot to do with this phone. God wants to do a lot with us.
