Some of them work part-time for many reasons, such as covering living expenses, gaining experience and socializing with others. The Australian government has a strict policy on this issue; International students can work a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester. For this reason, some foreign students believe that the regulation should not change because work can interfere with study time. However, this essay will argue that these restrictions are unnecessary and that these rules should be changed. College students are mature people, which means they know their responsibilities and know how to organize their time. They also need a lot of money to cover daily expenses which are higher in Australia than in their home country.
