As human society develops, civilization is ceaselessly progressive. One aspect of the progress of human civilization is political civilization. Democratic politicians can be considered the representatives of political civilization. When people refer to the history of human progress, they find that human beings strive to achieve this great goal, and no one can stop the human desire for political freedom. In 2011, another country took a step towards democracy. Egypt is located in the ancient, sacred and conservative Middle East. Egyptians are rejoicing in their political aspirations after overthrowing Mubarak's dictatorship and are gradually making efforts to create a democratic and peaceful country. Egypt was known as a totalitarian state. According to Dickerson (2010), totalitarianism is a modern form of despotic government in which the state undertakes to reshape society according to an ideological design. Mubarak fit this definition and was ranked 20th in Parade Magazine's list of the world's worst dictators in 2009. Even though Mubarak was said to be one of the world's worst dictators, he continued to rule the country in a totalitarian. He attempted to remake society to produce his kingdom; to help himself and his family, he embezzled hundreds of millions of dollars. ABC News indicated that experts believe the personal wealth of Mubarak and his family is between $40 and $70 billion. Mubarak was a very powerful leader and let the law become an arbitrary tool to rule the people. Since 1981, after the death of Sadat, Mubarak became the fourth president of Egypt and the president of the National Democratic Party (NDP).
