While reducing greenhouse gas emissions appears to work to stop or slow global warming, it wouldn't have a huge impact. The CO2 filling the air has already become too much for trees to remove from the atmosphere. This doesn't mean we have to give up, but rather work even harder to save animals and the Earth. Planting trees would provide more oxygen, and those trees would also absorb the CO2 flowing through the air. Maybe another solution that would at least help would be to try not to use the car as much as possible. Cycling every now and then would do that
