The terrible events of September 11, 2001 killed 2,996 people and caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure damage. After 9/11, people started pointing fingers at Muslims for doing this, just because a small group of Muslims doesn't tell me they're all the same. September 11th forever changed America's view of Islam and Muslims. Even before 9/11, they still harbored hatred towards Islam and Muslims. These are the famous online quotes from an unknown person “I am Muslim, Islam is perfect but I am not. If I make a mistake, blame me, not my religion." I am here today, to clear up the misunderstanding about my beautiful religion, not everything we see or hear is true. “Islam is a violent religion, Islam is a terrorist group, people might confuse culture with religion. Or other people would mix culture with religion. While others read the Quran and understood it or interrupted it incorrectly. If someone misunderstands the meaning of something and continues to practice it the wrong way, obviously what they are doing is going to be violent and wrong, and that's what I believe a terrorist is. If they really practiced the Quran in the right way, terrorists would not exist. The Quran is the word of Allah “God” dictated to the Prophet Muhammad by the Archangel Gabriel. In Islam, the Quran is the main source of guidance. “The Quran is unique in many ways. God has perfectly preserved the Quran and guaranteed it from corruption until the end of time.' (Pete Seda, 10). The reason terrorists exist is because people accept religion and practice it the way they believe is right. The Quran teaches many things. The Quran teaches us what is right and what is wrong, how to treat our parents, how to treat our neighbors. The Quran is the way of life. The Quran also gives women a very important role and the prophet (peace be upon him) is the perfect example that shows us how to behave like good human beings. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the most influential man in the world, he was the greatest legislator of all time. Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) was kind and did well with all mankind. He was a man who treated the poor the same way he treated the rich. He cared for the sick and needy people. He was a man who would treat black people the same way he treated white people. Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) was a man who his own enemies would call the sincere and honest. A man when his own enemies look him in the eyes, this is not the face of a liar. He didn't hurt anyone, in fact he thought many people had hurt him. He was an orphan at the age of six. He didn't go to school because he was poor. However, he had one of the best manners ever possessed on earth. Everyone loved him and cared about him. He went through a lot of hardships, he didn't give up, but he stayed strong and showed the world that it's not hard unless you give up and said it's hard. As a Muslim, our goal is to implement the way he lived to the core, from the way we enter the bathroom, to the way we would govern an entire country. To the way we dress, to the way we eat. Because this is how Muslims should be
