Most males feel the need to be dominant, strong and aggressive, I would say this is due to testosterone. Men with a higher testosterone level can cause masculine behaviors such as aggression and competitiveness. This may explain why men consistently prove themselves to be strong individuals, both among other men and among women. When we see behavior like this we tend to associate it with the male gender.
