America is a federal republic with the oldest federation in the world. Immigration has played an important role in shaping this nation. It was heavily influenced by immigration and still is, due to which the country has very strict immigration laws. America is basically represented by exclusively English-language legislation, while the nation has had immigrants from all different countries, most of them did not speak English. Immigration laws have affected natives and immigrants in this country. These strict immigrant laws have major effects on people's lives and careers (especially legal immigrants). People who want to live or do business in the United States become victims of these laws, even if they have chosen the legal and right way to do so. Most people can't get the US visa they want. Sometimes they have to wait many years. That suffering is caused to them because of the people who chose the wrong path to settle in America. So, the solution to the problem is that legal immigrants should not suffer due to undocumented immigrants and there should be some amendments in the laws so that people who choose impeccable ways to follow their dreams can have some relaxation. US immigration laws should be made a little more lenient without jeopardizing the nation's security. The most basic problem is obtaining the US visa. This is the problem that many nations of the world are facing. US embassies in most countries around the world are very strict, which is also very fair because they have to be careful about who enters the country and whether or not a person should enter the country. Talking about the people who suffer, the disruptions in the paper, employment, false and fraudulent documentation, etc. President Obama must also oppose partnership programs between local police and ICE. The harsh bills passed are not only against illegal immigration but can also have many negative impacts on legal immigrants. (Ejera, 3) The bill would tighten borders and also lead to the deportation of illegal immigrants who commit crimes. But it seems that this bill will affect family immigration and legal immigrants will also receive many public benefits. Many argue that these bills attack not only illegal immigrants but also the rights of legal immigrants to be part of American society. The rights of legal immigrants should be protected. Fighting the problem of undocumented immigrants should not jeopardize the dreams and rights of legal immigrants.
