When I started researching I came across an article that really nailed down my feelings about right versus wrong. I couldn't have put it better in words: “What does your instinct tell you? What do you feel in the pit of your stomach?" (Kern). Growing up Roman Catholic, right versus wrong for me was based on the biblical teachings my parents taught me. This, however, often led me to wonder: what about those who don't they follow the same teachings? If we all have different views on what is wrong and what is right, then how can we base that as fact? I think in the first week, when Dr. Broyles asked me to elaborate Moore's argument about emotional theory, was my true mind-blowing epiphany in this course.
