The magazine I chose for this assignment is "Information system flexibility and cost efficiency of business processes" written by Gebauer and Schober. After reading this journal what I discovered is that the importance of flexibility is an essential part in an information system. Information system flexibility has been considered an important driver for the success of an information technology. This article provides an information system flexibility model that covers all stages of information system application and practice. The model studies the rational aspects of information system users as an important support for the flexibility of the information system. The journal also looks at the characteristics of a business process, specifically the three dimensions of the business process which are uncertainty; variability; and time criticality.
