IntroductionMWA recognizes that to successfully achieve its strategic aims, objectives and priorities, strong and robust governance arrangements must be in place. MWA governance is a policy-driven and administered organization. In order to have a clear strategy, both the Board of Trustees and the strategic management team take an active role in defining and monitoring the direction of the organization's travel. High-quality routine reporting throughout the year ensures that we are both kept up to date on key factors that may impact the organization and how we are responding to the impact on a day-to-day basis. MWA has a non-executive board consisting of a chair and up to eight members (board members) who are responsible for its governance and strategy. The management and daily operation of the organization are delegated to the Chief Executive Officer.
