Ted BundyTed Bundy was the deputy director of the Seattle Crime Prevention Advisory Committee and had written a pamphlet containing instructions to help prevent the rape of women. Bundy was considered the prime example of a good citizen. Despite being an example of the good citizen he is believed to be, his sadistic habits that lurk in the depths of his mind caused his death by electric chair in January 1989. Before Bundy's public executions, he requested the presence of psychologist James Dobson, so that he could reveal to him how pornography had influenced his behavior. "My experience with pornography, when you become addicted to it, and I consider this type of addiction like other types of addiction, I would continue to look for more powerful, more explicit material, more types of material. Like any addiction, you keep craving something, something which is harder, something that gives you a greater sense of excitement, until you reach a point where pornography only goes so far, you reach that leap point where you start to wonder if maybe actually doing it would give you what it goes beyond just reading or watching it -Ted Bundy (Corpus, Leilani).”Pornography brought Bundy out of his home 20 or 30 years ago. It is also what can turn any child away from a home today. However, his religion helped him restrain himself from his fantasies, but eventually even that could no longer restrain his impulses. Alcohol helped him break down and make it harder to refrain from committing his first murder. Bundy claimed to have been possessed by a terrible, alienated being. It was hard to say that there was anything abnormal about him. He wasn't the type of man you would find in a bar or annoying others, he was considered normal (Corpus, Le...... middle of paper......, Sarah). Over time Bundy's methods were pieced together and the mystery was finally coming to an end. Remains were also recovered and how they were manipulated until they died. The final image had materialized. Now it is also known how the crimes occurred. Bundy would lure them to his car and take them to a secluded area where he raped and killed his victims. The man who did these cruel things has definitely emerged (Marshall, Sarah). At 7:16 it was time. Bundy had been prepared for execution. His executioner tied him to the chair and flipped the switch. As electricity coursed through his body, the prison began to cheer, because now they know Bundy is dead. Many had been waiting outside for days. Many others gathered that night, it's safe to say that many had been waiting for Bundy's death for a good ten years (Marshall, Sarah).
