Imagine that among the infinite stars and planets of the vast universe, only a solitary planet could support life. Very controversial discussions have arisen about whether humans are the only intelligent beings in the universe. Scientists continually search for the answer, but the research has not yet produced positive results. Billions of dollars have been spent on research, causing controversy over whether scientists should invest in hunting extraterrestrial beings. Due to inadequate technology, humans are currently unable to identify whether extraterrestrial life exists, leading to claims that scientists should refrain from looking for them. The findings on Earth and other planets suggest that extraterrestrial life may be living in space, further encouraging scientists to proceed with their research. The discovery of water is a big step forward in finding habitable planets. Mars had a shallow pool of salt water on its surface long ago, NASA said, announcing what may be the strongest evidence yet that the now-arid Red Planet was once hospitable to life, according to new studies. . “If our interpretation is correct, this was a habitable environment,” Squyres said. These are the environments most suitable for life” (Ponti). Little evidence shows that beings now live on Mars, but this dried-up water source provides strong evidence that Mars could have inhabited life in the past. Water is a key element for survival and can also support marine life. Marine life may simply become extinct as the water dries up. If Mars was truly inhabited by extraterrestrials long ago, scientists cannot rule out the presence of living beings on any other planet in the universe and must continue the search. People could be alone with no one to save them from themselves, or there could be a life that humans would have to save themselves from.
