Kudler Frequent Shopper ProgramOne of Kudler Fine Foods' main goals in its growth is to develop a system to track customer purchases, therefore a frequent shopper program has been put in place to carry out monitoring while assigning loyalty points to customers to redeem. When creating such a system for a business, many factors such as legal, ethical, and information security issues must be taken into consideration to be successful. Currently the company president has kept legal fees to a minimum by taking legal advice from his sister-in-law. -law Anne Shousha who is a tax lawyer. Another flaw is that Kudler uses very few custom modules to manage contracts, orders, etc. Legal costs are therefore expected to increase as new legal documents and forms will need to be developed for the new program to take place. Plus lots more advice from a legal professional to make sure your program complies with the law. As the program launches, new hardware will be needed to track all customer purchases and loyalty points, so it's important that all new equipment and hardware is energy efficient with ENERGY STAR ratings as we enter the era of "green computing", especially since the company is located in California. Since the goal of this project is to increase revenue, it is important that privacy laws are taken very seriously when tracking customers' transactions, products, and purchasing habits. Much information must remain confidential within the company to maximize customer safety. Social media monitoring can be a very powerful marketing tool that can be used in conjunction with online programs and sales, however it must be used responsibly so that the customer...... middle of paper.. ....the company at a much higher level. This information system will revolutionize the entire organizational structure by creating new jobs and new departments within the company. It is a challenge for anyone to control the budget for this system so that it can be established without harming the company's finances. As long as all legal, ethical, and information security concerns related to the program are properly addressed, this program will be successful, increasing sales, increasing customer satisfaction, and increasing revenue. The new system will also reduce service costs in the long run by using fewer resources. Works CitedKudler Fine Foods. (2013).
