Keeping Information Nowadays, most people have Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts to share personal opinions with others on the Internet. However, no one can control other people's minds and what they want to say, so some "reactionary speeches" are already being published on the Internet. In order to control the spread of "reactionary speech" online, the Chinese government decided to ban foreign social networks and create Chinese social networks such as Renren, Youku and Weibo to replace Facebook, YouTube and Twitter for Chinese people, why the Chinese Social networks are easier to control by the Chinese government to keep “reactionary speeches” away. The Chinese government wants to protect the social stability of the Chinese people and does not allow "reactionary speeches" to disturb the minds of the Chinese people. However, closing foreign social networks to Chinese people will not be a good method for the development of Chinese society. If a country's people only know partial information and cannot truly know their country, how can they help it achieve great development? Knowing complete information about Chinese society will not have a bad influence on the Chinese people, but one-sided understanding would be disadvantageous to the country's development. China should accept foreign social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, because they will allow Chinese people to obtain comprehensive information about their world. Comprehensive information represents enormous power to make society more powerful. Throughout China's history, there is some powerful evidence that proves this point. The Tang Dynasty system of accepting advice from people and sharing the country's information is the first system of "so...... middle of paper...... Chinese people can browse foreign social networks, Chinese people have the right to choose what" website they wish to visit. Chinese people can choose whether to believe the rumors or not. China has a large population and the average level of education is low. But that doesn't mean Chinese people lack the judgment to distinguish fact from rumor. All in all, the Chinese government should accept foreign social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Banning these online activities cannot fundamentally stop the rumors, however, more useful information than those rumors would be lost. Everyone has the right to know what has happened and what has already happened in their country. In order to protect the stability of Chinese society, the Chinese government should focus on improving capabilities, which can improve people's lives, instead of hiding information from people.
