Thesis- When the Beatles first took the American stage on February 9, 1964, culture and emotions were altered due to the influential musical style and “style ” that the four brought with them to America and how this ultimately transformed the attitudes and style of many Americans.1. BTS- The Beatles were mostly based in Europe, but when word spread about the Beatles, girls and boys went crazy for them and started turning the Beatles into a more American band. The Beatles were played non-stop on all radio stations throughout the day due to their popularity and most stations could not keep up with the requests. (Yes, yes, yes) a. The Beatles had already been a big hit in much of Europe because they were based in their hometown of Liverpool, but eventually the big American news networks got wind of the crazy fan base and the music and had to report on this "Beatle mania". 3 US news networks sent film crews to report on the Beatle craze. (Yes! Yes! Yes!) An American teenager who had seen the television reports asked a local disc jockey to play a Beatles song. The radio station was playing “I Want Hold Your Hand” and that was when the Beatles made their first radio appearance in America” (Yes! Yes! Yes!)i. The Disc Jockey gained so much fan recognition that every station played a Beatles song once a week after that first play. This outbreak raised the alarm for Capital's record and a huge light bulb went off for record signers. (Yes! Yes! Yes!)1. Try ii. Capital Records decided to record this song and have it heard in America, so they went ahead with the plan and the song "I Want Hold Your Hand" was released on December 7, 1963. Many fans were discouraged... paper... bullets in his back and did not kill him instantly but seriously wounded him. Doctors arrived and took him to the emergency room immediately but he was pronounced dead as soon as they entered the hospital.
