Although, because I didn't cry then, as I got older I became more vulnerable, it made me more sensitive towards everything. Controlling emotions was much easier then than now. I've learned that we tend to know how to keep ourselves in check and in a healthy state of mind. I've learned that it's better to talk about my father's death than to avoid the topic. I learned that eating ice cream after a breakup helps empty the heart and stomach. However, overall, we cry, laugh and get angry no matter what because our body needs to feel vulnerable to express what we really feel, controlling our emotions makes us strong and gives us a greater chance of happiness but also the feeling of loneliness . Controlling emotions takes practice, it involves emotional empathy, which is the ability to focus and recognize mood for both yourself and yourself
