I am here today to discuss the benefits my book can have on your education today and your future lives and ideals. Although my novel is set in the southern states of America during the time of the 1930s, I wrote this book to highlight the importance of noticing racism in society and because my personal belief is that everyone is equal in our society and Prejudice based on color was not acceptable in the days of slavery and I felt that the same type of prejudice based on race still exists today and that the nature of racism throughout our society is a huge problem.
