New NightclubIntroduction============My business idea is a new nightclub based in Tenby, Pembrokeshire. Initially the nightclub will serve the music and social entertainment market, promoting bands and bands from across Wales and also playing the music customers want to hear. The musical genres played and performed will depend on the results of my next questionnaire. I expect there will be a demand for this service as the only competitions in or around the Tenby area are The Night Owl and TheSands, and there isn't even live music. I plan to research my idea to test my hypothesis with primary and secondary research. I also intend to produce a comprehensive business plan, including a marketing plan, a financial plan and a production plan.Research Methodology-----------------------Primary research provides first-hand market information, e.g. focus groups, questionnaires, observations, telephone interviews, etc. I have chosen to carry out the primary research in the form of a questionnaire, as this will allow me to find out exactly what potential customers want in a nightclub. It will also give me clear and precise answers to my questions based on the 4 Ps: product/service, place, promotion and price. I will then be able to provide customers with what they really want. This shows that I am market oriented. will personally distribute the questionnaires to a variety of different people to ensure fair and genuine results. Secondary research provides second-hand information about the market. These can be obtained using local data, government statistics, competitive information and pricing and key fact files, etc. I will use information about competitors to discover valuable information such as:· Fixed and variable costs (stock, electricity costs… etc.)· How they promote their club· The average number of customers they get on a weekly basis and which nights they are most crowded· How much do they charge for entrance, drinks, etc... Work, seasonal, part-time, flexible hours?
