Inspiration, as related to the Bible, is a supernatural influence of the Holy Spirit on divinely chosen agents as a result of which their writings become trustworthy and authoritative; the defense of this definition is the Bible itself. “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16. Furthermore, 2 Peter 1:20 also states, “Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came to pass by the prophet's interpretation of things.” The writers of the Bible wrote only what God allowed them to write. He used their talents and abilities to communicate his words and revelations. This inspiration and God-inspired words can guarantee its inerrancy and continuation
