When some colleagues informed me that they had seen my name on a list of nominations for the National Honor Society, I was surprised and sincerely flattered. After researching more about what it was, it was an honor to be recognized for everything I do every day to succeed in life. Every year I make sure to take every opportunity to get the best education possible, such as any honors or AP classes. My freshman year, I took AP Biology and I have to admit that I was intimidated at first, but I knew that if I applied myself and continued to take the course it would help me in the long run and I ended up with a B and was ecstatic when I got it Done. I found out I passed the AP test. Passing one AP course gave me the ambition to go on and take more, so next year I plan to take three AP courses; Psychology, environmental science, and U.S. history. Along with these, I am very determined about dual enrollment. I am willing to work as hard as I can to ensure success.
