Corporal and child punishment is the form of punishment that may include beatings, branding, blinding, flogging, and other physical pain to curb unbearable behavior and reform the offender. Corporal punishment can be judicial corporal punishment, school corporal punishment and home corporal punishment. The effects of corporal punishment against children cannot be ignored. In most developed countries, corporal punishment does not exist (Soneson, 2005). Although corporal and children are adopted by some families to limit their children from doing unnecessary activities, but the negative impact cannot be an impact. The negative impact of corporal punishment goes beyond its benefits. Families often implement corporal and child punishment to teach their children a lesson about wrongdoing. But punishment can hardly teach children lessons as it can influence children's violent behaviors (Bitensky, 2006). National surveys reveal that methods used in the United States such as ear pulling, shaking, kicking, squeezing, pinching, using hairbrushes and belts to prevent children from engaging in unwanted behaviors. These methods are applied to children under 8 years of age (Hunt, 2001). Another survey shows that 35% of parents agree with implementing any one or two strategies for one-year-olds. For some parents the application of these punishments is cruel and leads them to apply appropriate punishment to children which would help change the mentality and any wrong behavior (Glenn, 2001). According to data released in the United States, it appears that more than 223,190 students were subjected to physical punishment by faculty or teachers in the year 2005-2006 (Tunner, 20...... half of the document ..... .d Punishment on children can make children realize the consequences of their wrong actions. Another behavioral effect of punishment on children is that it can help students or children at home discourage bad behavior due to the unpleasant nature of it. punishment implemented by teachers as a deterrent for misbehavior for fear of further punishment (Breen, 2006). Fear of further punishment can cause children to complete homework quickly and can ultimately relieve parents from leaving work for. It teaches children the best possible path that they apply in life to be successful and be a good human being. Children's judgment to overlook wrong thoughts can help increase their decision-making power. Children's positive behavioral effect and corporal punishment can help them focus their mind on studies and know the difference between right and wrong.
