Corporate social responsibility is a term used by businesses that tells us that the company has a responsibility with a large percentage of interest in which social concerns and environmental are integrated into routine operations which includes stakeholders, such as employees, suppliers, customers or communities. CSR is said to be the commitment to improving society through business practices and corporate contributions (Lee, 2005). CSR in simple words can be described as where businesses help or show signs of interest in helping stakeholders fairly in their lives and business. Some argue that a responsible company is a company that takes an interest in the lives of stakeholders by helping them because it is within the law. (McWilliams & Siegel, 2000). There are many benefits of CSR; firstly it has a great impact on the financial position of the company because when they help communities people show a sign of trust towards the company which increases sales (Bhardwaj, 2011). Secondly, I think it's the best kind of advertising. For example, a small business like a bakery helps the homeless and hungry to make the world a better place and automatically people will gravitate towards that business because it takes corporate social responsibility very seriously. So, by helping businesses, we have obtained first and foremost two types of advantages
