Frank Sinatra was widely known from coast to coast. He was definitely one of the most popular stars of his era. (3) Not only was he a singer/songwriter, but as his career grew, he easily transitioned into acting and dancing. Ole Blue Eyes was an American icon capable of captivating with each passing decade. He had a sound he carried like no other. His sweet voice could sweep women away and make them fall directly into his arms. Ole Blue Eyes had an amazing talent and he definitely didn't waste it. It all began when Italian immigrants, Martin and Natalie Sinatra, gave birth to a baby boy on December 12, 1915. That night Francis Albert Sinatra was born without breathing. His grandmother decided to keep him under water. Grateful, he began to pant. From the beginning, Frank made his way despite unfavorable circumstances. Martin, Sinatra's father, was a firefighter in the city of Hoboken, New Jersey. Frank's mother, Natalie or she was often called Dolly, was an amateur singer; who often played at clubs and social events. (1)As Frank grew up, so did his love for music. His first real passion for music came when his uncle gave him a ukulele. On warm summer nights Sinatra would sit on the porch as he played and sang for family and friends. Frank never had to take singing lessons. His wonderful gift came from the Lord. They lived in a rough neighborhood, so Frank had to be on guard almost all the time. To protect himself, he decided to dedicate himself to boxing. He would later become a competent boxer. (1) Frank attended Demarest High School. He was a generous, but combative person. These characteristics will follow him throughout his life. He competed in everything… middle of paper… and alcohol abuse. Frank Sinatra's career lasted more than fifty years. He has ventured between recordings, television films and countless performances in nightclubs, concert halls and sports arenas. (3) She was truly the first modern pop star. Audiences who grew up with him and his music were enriched by the adoration of younger generations. All of them made Ole Blue Eyes one of the most outstanding popular singers of the 20th century. His fluid style transcends all generations and can survive the harsh realities of time. It has been able to withstand the great changes of the eras. He was a creative and gifted man who enchanted the world with his blue eyes and beautiful smile. It doesn't matter how you see it; the starry-eyed boy next door, the wounded romantic or the cosmopolitan man who was and always will be Frank Sinatra.
