The tourism sector has become the fastest growing sector in the world economy and contributes to the development of the nation. According to a study conducted by the United Nations WTO in 2011, international tourist arrivals increased by 4.6% from 940 million in 2010 (Tourism Highlights, 2012). Malaysia has also not been left out of the economic boost from the tourism sector as it has become the fastest growing economic sector in the country and as reported in The Star Online on 15 August 2013, in 2012 the tourism sectors contribute 60.6 billion RM with the number of tourists at 25.03 million (The Star, 2013). Even in Thailand, the tourism sector is also growing and statistics carried out by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in 2008 show that in 2007 the sector contributes approximately 547,782 million Thai baht or 11 billion euros (Thailand Authority Thailand Tourism, 2008).
