When referring to rape, domestic violence and high school massacres, people will think that these crimes are committed by men, in fact, we have 85% of murders are committed by men; 95% of domestic violence is by men; 99% of prison rapes are committed by men (Documentary of Everton, 2014). Also, boys try to be cool, brave, tough, fagot, queer because many girls tend to love a bad boy. They want to be seen, but they threaten traditional assumptions of male supremacy. Also, depending on the community like race and gender, people will choose the character for them. For example, Black will play this character, but Latino will play another character. The fact is that some of the most serious problems of contemporary American society, especially those related to violence, can be considered essentially as problems internal to contemporary American masculinity. If we consider almost all categories of violence, we see that the perpetrators are predominantly men. Men are believed to be the dominant group but what men are not aware of is that it hardly gets them anywhere in life. In short, the community is one of the places where kids can acquire stereotypes
