Genghis Khan was born between the years 1155 and 1167. At birth he was named Temujin which meant "finest steel". He was the eldest son of his mother and the third of his father Yesugei, a minor Mongol chieftain. He was sent to live with his future wife Borte's clan but soon returned because his father had been poisoned by the Tartars. He took over his father's responsibilities as leader, but was not accepted by the other clan members because he was too young. They abandoned him, his mother and his other siblings, leaving them to survive by feeding on roots and hunting small animals. As he approached adolescence, his potential for greatness was already starting to manifest. Other clans saw him as a threat and out of fear one of them even kidnapped him. He was put in a cage and in this situation he was not even able to move. However he escaped and returned home to his family. Having survived so many hardships, Temujin believed he was destined for greatness and wished to avenge his father by regaining the position that was rightfully his [1] . Furthermore, influential shamans began to support him, including a man named Kokuchu who was the son of Yesugei's old servant. His proclamation that one day Temujin and his sons will rule the entire world [2] , still holds true with his children and grandchildren building on his success. In 1185, Temujin was chosen as khan® of his clan. He later trained his army into a powerful fighting force. Anti-Tatar groups began alliances with him and together attacked the Tatars. Their efforts were later supported by the Jinᴥ dynasty, which had changed sides out of fear of Tatar power. She married Borte and began to create alliances with neighboring clans. But one of the leaders of an Islamic country killed the men he had sent to discuss these issues. Genghis Khan furiously began attacking cities in the western region. The land to the west was called the Kwarizmian Empire and was led by Shah Ala ad-Din Muhammad. The dynasty ended in 1221 after Genghis Khan had them both killed. It also reached Eastern Europe. Although Genghis Khan acted mercilessly and some died, his efforts were for the better of our empire. In 1226, Genghis Khan was fighting to stop the alliance between the remaining tribes of the Qin Empire and the Na-Chung to form a rebellion. . Although he successfully made it back, he fell from his horse and was seriously injured. On August 21, 1227, Genghis Khan, our great founder, died.
