Tucker was a 13 year old boy with the look of an ad boy. His shaggy blonde hair and sea green eyes made him the center of attention wherever he went, and he obviously liked it. One day while riding his bicycle he saw a magic shop that caught his attention. He stopped in front of the window which was dark and a little dusty, the sign above was flashing a bright neon red "open" he read. The sign on the door read: Mr. Pirellis Magic Emporium Store Hours: Magic never stays open 24/7 for those in need of magic. As he pushed open the door, a bell somewhere in the shop rang announcing his presence. The store was dark and musty and smelled slightly of old Chinese food. Tucker began to look around. On one wall was an assortment of hats. Some were small, with short T-shirts and wide brims; others were tall with tiny brims. They had orange hats, red hats, the traditional black ones. “It's like a rainbow made of hats,” he thought to himself. Moving to the other side of the shop he saw an assortment of items you would see in a magic show; plenty of decks of cards, an assortment of magic wands, bouquets of flowers and an assortment of handkerchiefs. Some rubber chickens were hanging on the wall. What caught Tucker's attention, however, was a black squeezable top hat lying unattended on the counter. An evil desire to have that hat came over him. He grabbed the top hat and stuffed it into his backpack in a split second. Looking around one last time, he began to head towards the door when a wizard-looking old man appeared from behind a beaded curtain. “Well, hello everyone! Are you a lover of magic?" he said with a tone of valid curiosity. "Yes, a little..." Tucker replied hesitantly "I mean, I know a few tricks" he looked around at the old appearance of...... half of the paper.. ....Ref? I... came to return something” “Oh really?” said a voice from the darkness "Do the hats already give you so much trouble?" The lights came on, illuminating the shop with light. “I'm happy you brought her back,” he said, smiling to Tucker. “Her? I just brought your hat back. I stole it yesterday and she was doing some really crazy things, sir,” Tucker said, taking the hat out of the bag and placing it on the counter for the man. “Yes, I know.” that you got it, this hat here is very special, you see." The man began: “Because just as witches have their spells and their potions, wizards have their hats! So you see that hat is the source of all my magic. a card trick, my young apprentice?”
