) In our world – war, world hunger, and water – are all problems we face. On average, six to eight million people die every year because they don't have enough water to drink. If I were to change the world, I would make it easier for everyone to have and drink clean water. Even as the world struggles with the war that has killed 108 million people, it is not an everyday thing, it only happens once every 20 years, but dying from poor water is an everyday thing. Hunger is another big problem, but not having water is worse. People can go days without food, but water is something we need to drink every day. (4) Having water everywhere will mean that people will not die of dehydration, they will live healthier, they will be able to spend time. So back then pharmacists sold purified water as medicine to help sick people. So even in these areas that have some water but have to walk for kilometers every day to get some and then it's not even very clean. So even though they get enough water to live on, they don't live with the highest quality of life. My idea of giving the whole world free clean water would really help them too. This idea would not only be valid for people living in a desert, but for any part of the world struggling to get enough clean water(3), (5) There is still something wrong with the water they get: it could still have E. coli or hepatitis A or schistosome. (9) Women, children and the elderly: all have to walk several kilometers to reach the nearest water and most of the time the water is contaminated. Nothing in the water is really good for them because when they walk back and forth they are usually carrying around 40 pounds of water, which can be very hard on their backs. But having the chance to change the world with my idea about water would help them a lot. (8) Instead of having to fetch water every day, they could spend their time doing other important tasks, but probably the best thing they could do is school. (7)The women of the city will have more free time: they will be able to plant gardens to produce more food. As children go to school and mothers prepare more food, this is becoming a cycle of good times. Kids who go to school will be able to go to college and become nurses, teachers and perhaps entrepreneurs. This cycle will soon continue to repeat itself to transform this third world country that has no water into a country that has a say in the
