Topic > Sports: A Research on Physical Activities - 1734

1.0 INTRODUCTIONThe topic related to sports, participation, college students and their motivation is identified as this discussed issue depended largely on individual's opinion on physical activity , whether as a hobby or not , while the difficulty of understanding the issue is moderate, without much theory and much jargon for the group. BACKGROUND STUDY The terms "physical activity" and "exercise" have often been used interchangeably. Physical activity is “bodily movement produced by the contraction of skeletal muscle and which substantially increases energy expenditure”. Although the terms are similar in that they involve any energy-consuming bodily movement, exercise is a subset of physical activity that has been defined as “planned, structured, and repetitive bodily movement performed to improve or maintain one or more components of physical fitness ” and physical fitness is “a set of attributes that people have or achieve that relate to the ability to perform physical activity.” To understand the impact of environmental influences on all domains of physical activity, researchers have recently begun to collect reliable data on forms of physical activity other than leisure (or recreational) physical activity. Physical activities can be simplified as a collective definition of sports, martial arts, and other activities that can be considered physical activities. In another definition, physical activity simply means movement of the body that uses energy. Walking, gardening, pushing a stroller briskly, climbing stairs, playing soccer, or dancing at night are all good examples of physical activity. In this report physical activity is considered as sports activity, physical exercise, martial arts and...... half of the document ...... This study is to understand students' involvement in physical activities throughout the study period. There are some factors related to student involvement in physical activities such as sports, martial arts, and other activities that can be considered physical activities. These chapters explain what physical activities are and how they affect a student's study. There is a lot of information available on student involvement in activities. Chapter 2 examines current research and literature related to the themes of this study: student involvement in physical activity through study and the theories that support this research. Chapter 3 describes the research methods of the study; chapter 4, the results of this study; and Chapter 5, the summary, conclusions and recommendations of this study.
